I have missed a few days, so I figured I better update on what's been going on with me and my battle. My meter had a little malfunction so my first reading in the morning of the  9th wasn't accurate it said 7.5 way to high to be the first reading of the day. But I went with it and worked around it most of the day last reading was 7.8 not bad but not good either.  on the 10th it went back to normal was 6.2 when I got up and my last reading of the day was 6.6 which is really good. On the 11th my first reading was 6.4.  Then I went to the dr.'s to see if I could cut back on my medication since it seems to bring my blood sugar down to low.  So the good news is that now I only take half metformin in the morning and half at lunch. I take a whole one at dinner time which seems to be working.  My reading for yesterday the 12th was 6.7 went up to 12.4 which didn't worry me since my after lunch test was 5.2.  I had Chinese food for dinner and it went up a bit but not really that far into the danger zone. My last reading last night was 8.1.
My first test this morning was 5.6 .  So much for the diabetic clinics theory that my body doesn't make that much insulin.  I guess they really don't know what they are talking about but my doctor does and I will listen to him.

My first test of the day was 6.9 which is normal.  2hrs after breakfast it went up to 9.7 which is good. I didn't test at lunch, but I did test before dinner and it went down to 4.9 which is classified  as normal which isn't totally normal for me.  My blood sugar should be around 5 I think that would be a good number for me.

First test of the morning was 6.9, which is really good.  I did find out something yesterday that no one told me.  After I eat if my blood sugar goes up to 10 that is fine and nothing to worry about. But I do know that eating bread spike my sugar higher than it should be.  So starting Monday I will no longer be eating bread or any kind of bread product.  Sticking with things that don't spike my sugar like steel cut oats, oatmeal, fruit and lots of veggies.  I will still eat small amounts of rice and potatoes just so my body gets some kind of carbs.

First test of the day 7.1 . Went to get my nails done at 8:45, then off to the dr.s' to get more good news.  He told me that I'm doing great and that I don't have to see him for 2 weeks yeah for me.

This morning wasn't so great first test of the day was 7.5 and that is without breakfast.  I had breakfast and then off to the dentist. Came home just in time for lunch. I tested just before lunch and it had gone down to 6.1, way better than the first one of the day.
Now off to get some more yard work done.

I didn't sleep that great last night and then at 4:45 am, Emma decided that it was a good time to go outside. If she wasn't so cute I think I would have strangled her.  I went back to bed and woke up at 8:50 later than normal for me any way.  I tested my blood and it was 6.9 a really good start to the day, right up until I had some cereal and the milk that was dated for the 5th of June was sour.  I didn't know it until I started eating it yuck.  So I had a banana instead.

Okay now I know why blood sugar was so high... Duh forgot to take my meds after lunch. They are very important.
